The Lighthouse and The Whaler

The Lighthouse and the Whaler are a five-piece Midwestern rock band. Their music has elements of surf and chiming, intricate indie rock. The bright folk-pop is strengthened by concise vocal harmonies. They use swells of cymbal work and various string instruments to bring definition to the sound. The band’s uniqueness lies in their innocence and delicate approach to songwriting.

The Lighthouse and the Whaler are comprised of two brothers and their friends who formed the band after college. Critical acclaim for recent release, “This is an Adventure” and a tour with Matt Pond PA shows promise for the young band.
