Tall Friend

Tall Friend is an insular indie rock project from the mind of Charlie Pfaff. Pfaff catalogs their experiences in two journals marked "side A and side B"; one for proper rock songs and one for doodles, brain vomit, freestyle, and casual writing. They pull their self-reflective lyrics from one of these two spaces and translate them into low-key bedroom rock; channeling an inner dialogue about past hurt and personal growth. The result is a project that's deeply self-focused but applicable to anyone struggling with trauma, mental illness, or simply becoming who they endeavor to be.
