The Humble

The Humble’s strange name is a perfect descriptor for their unconventional Southeastern rock blend. The More Louder part manifests itself in Tube Screamer-saturated delay walls and heinous bass grooves. The Humble shows up in their usage of contemplative guitar work to bridge verse and chorus. Mo Lowda is a powerful three-piece; a titanic brute of sound pours out from their plucking. 2013’s release “Curse the Weather” is a strong debut full of digestible singalongs. The band has cut a path between pop and rock that puts them on the heavier edge while remaining sensible and brooding enough to warrant multiple listens.

After this release, “the trio found themselves becoming popular throughout the Philadelphia music scene, playing notable shows at top venues such as Underground Arts, Milkboy, and North Star Bar. With an abundance of new songs already in the works, Mo Lowda and The Humble’s future plans include music videos, recording and releasing new material, and continuing to perform both locally and nationally.”

Watch them perform tracks from Curse the Weather and workshop some new tunes to appear on a record at the end of the year.
