MAKET
About the band
MAKET (pron. "maquette") was formed in Moscow in 2019 by the members of punk rock and post-hardcore bands Paint the Morning and Pobeda. In August 2020, 8-shows Background Tour took place to support the band’s debut self-titled record, released on Punk Fiction Records. They performed at such festivals as Forest King (Voronezh), Anti (Moscow), Podpolie Summer Fest (Samara), Moscow Music Week 2020 and 2021 (showcase of BOL Festival). The band is currently working on a new record, tentatively titled Life Without News, and their sound has slightly shifted from emotional punk-rock to shoegaze and alternative rock.
